Signature Inversion in the Yrast Band of ¹⁶⁴Ta

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁴²Nd(²⁷Al, 5n), E=150 MeV; ¹⁴¹Pr(²⁸Si, 4n), E=142 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹⁶⁴Ta deduced high-spin levels, J, π, B(M1)/B(E2), configurations. Cranked mean-field calculations.
