Two-Nucleon Transfer Reactions in Deformed Nuclei using very Heavy Ions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁴Sm(¹³²Xe, ¹³⁴Xe), E=500-580 MeV; calculated two-nucleon transfer probability to ground state bands. ¹⁵⁸Gd(¹³²Xe, ¹³²Xe'), E=540 MeV; calculated ground state band excitation probability. Semiclassical method.
