NUCLEAR REACTIONS 238U(n, F), E=fast; measured Eγ, Iγ, partial γ-ray σ(E) using GEANIE array for γ detection at the LANSCE-WNR-LANL facility; deduced fission yields of 92Kr, 94,96,98Sr, 100,102,104Zr, 104,106Mo, 128,132Sn, 134,138Te, 138,140Xe, 144,146,148Ba, 150Ce. Comparison with model calculations using CGMF code, and with previous experimental results from γγ-coin technique.

Measurement of prompt neutron spectra from the 239Pu(n, f) fission reaction for incident neutron energies from 1 to 200 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 239Pu(n, F), E=1-200 MeV; measured prompt fission neutron spectra (PFNS), E(n), I(n) using FIGARO neutron detector array at WNR-LANSC, LLNL facility; deduced mean neutron energy, evidence for Opening of the second, third and fourth chance fission channels. Comparison with Bruyeres le Chatel (BRC) calculations using Los Alamos model, and with JEFF 3.1 and ENDF/BVII.1 evaluations.
