Suppression of hard two-photon-exchange contributions to R_e+e- elastic scattering cross-section ratios: A phenomenological approach

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(e^-, e^-), (e⁺, e⁺), Q²=0.01-3 (GeV/c)²; calculated two-photon-exchange (TPE) coefficients, ratio R_e+e- or R_2γ of positron-proton and electron-proton elastic-scattering σ(E) using a new phenomenological parametrization of the two-photon-exchange corrections. Comparison with experimental data from CLAS, VEPP-3, and OLYMPUS experiments, and with other analyses.
