Charge radii of neon isotopes across the sd neutron shell

NUCLEAR MOMENTS ^{17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28}Ne; measured isotope shifts, hyperfine structure; deduced mean-square charge radii, β₂ deformation parameters. Collinear laser spectroscopy. Systematics of first excited 2+ states, B(E2) values, deformation parameters for even-A nuclei. Comparison with several theoretical model calculation. Relevance to nuclei in the 'island of inversion'.
