Effects of the symmetry energy in the ¹³²Sn + ¹²⁴Sn reaction at 300 MeV/nucleon

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁴Sn(¹³²Sn, X), E=300 MeV/nucleon; calculated neutron/proton and π^-/π⁺ ratios with densities higher than the normal nuclear matter density, baryon density, average multiplicity and kinetic energy spectra of π^- and π⁺, production of Δ resonances as a function of time. Isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck (IBUU) transport model. Relevance to ongoing experiments at RIBF-RIKEN facility using the SAMURAI time-projection chamber.
