Observation of internal-conversion electrons emitted from ^229mTh produced by β decay of ²²⁹Ac

RADIOACTIVITY ²²⁹Ac(β^-)[from ²³²Th(p, α), E=20 MeV, followed by chemical separation of ²²⁹Ac and preparation of an electrodeposited source at RCNP, Osaka University]; measured Eγ, ce, I(ce), β(ce)-coin, β(ce)(t). ^229mTh; deduced level, half-life of the 8.28-eV isomer.
