The Nuclear Equation of State Probed by K⁺ Production in Heavy Ion Collisions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(C, X), ¹⁹⁷Au(¹⁹⁷Au, X), E ≈ 0.8-2 GeV; analyzed K⁺ yields, multiplicity, dependence on equation of state. ⁵⁸Ni(⁵⁸Ni, X), E=1.93 GeV/nucleon; analyzed kaon transverse flow.
