Collinear cluster tri-partition: Kinematics constraints and stability of collinearity

RADIOACTIVITY 252Cf(SF); calculated energies for ternary fission fragments Sn+Si+Ni and Sn+Ca+Ni for different mass splits, excitation energies, neutron multiplicities and scission configurations, angular distribution of ternary fission fragments; analyzed possibility of collinear cluster tripartition (CCT) originating from two sequential fission processes or one ternary decay. Comparison with experimental data. Relevance to experiments by FOBOS group at FLNR-JINR, and future experiments.
