ATOMIC MASSES 206,207,207mRa; measured time-of-flight spectra by α-decay-correlated mass spectroscopy using multireflection time-of-flight mass spectrograph (MRTOF-MS) system, with an α-TOF detector at SHE-Mass-II facility of RIBF-RIKEN; deduced mass excesses, and compared with evaluated data in AME2020. 207mRa; deduced excitation energy of the isomer, J, π. 206,207,207mRa isotopes produced in 159Tb(51V, X), E=306 MeV, followed by separation of evaporation residues using recoil ion separator GARIS-II at RIKEN.

RADIOACTIVITY 206,207mRa(α)[from 159Tb(51V, X), E=306 MeV at RIBF-RIKEN]; measured Eα, Iα, T1/2 of decays of 206Ra and 207mRa, excitation energy of the isomer; deduced α-reduced width, configuration. Systematics of spins, parities, Eα, T1/2, α-branching ratios, reduced α widths for 203,203m,205,205m,207,207mRa. 198,199Po, 202,203At, 202,203Rn, 206,207Fr, 207Ra; observed α spectra from decays.

First high-precision direct determination of the atomic mass of a superheavy nuclide

ATOMIC MASSES 257Db; measured Eα, time-of flight, distribution of time-of-flight (ToF)-correlated α-decay events using multireflection time-of-flight mass spectrograph (MRTOF-MS) at RIKEN Ring Cyclotron facility; deduced A/q and mass excess for each of the 11 observed correlated events assigned to 257Db. Comparison with AME2016 evaluated data. 257Db isotope produced in 208Pb(51V, 2n), E=306 MeV reaction, followed by separation of fragments using GARIS-II separator.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 204Pb(48Ca, 2n)250No, E=218.0 MeV; measured evaporation residues (ER), fission (SF) events, ER-electron-SF correlated events, γ(electron)-coin, half-lives of an isomer and the ground state using RITU separator and GREAT spectrometer at the University of Jyvaskyla accelerator facility. 250No; deduced level, isomer, decay modes of the isomer and the ground state. Systematics of energies of isomers in N=148 isomers 242Pu, 244Cm, 246Cf, 248Fm, 250No. Relevance to the island of stability of superheavy elements.

Influence of octupole vibration on the low-lying structure of 251Fm and other heavy N = 151 isotones

RADIOACTIVITY 255No(α)[from 48Ca(208Pb, n), E=220 MeV and from ϵ decay of 255Lr produced in 48Ca(209Bi, 2n), E=214 MeV using the VASSILISSA separator with the GABRIELA spectrometer at FLNR-JINR, Dubna]; measured Eγ, Iγ, x rays, E(ce), I(ce), Eα, αγ-coin, (ce)α-coin, isomer half-life by γ(t) using implantation silicon detector strips for conversion electrons and α detection, and HPGe detector array for γ detection. 251Fm; deduced levels, J, π, conversion coefficients, multipolarities, B(M2), B(E3), and E3/M2 mixing ratio of 5/2+ to g.s transition. Comparison with previous experimental results, and with theoretical calculations. Systematics of low-lying excited states in 245Pu, 247Cm, 249Cf, 251Fm, 253No, 255Rf.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 246,247Cm, 248,249Cf, 250,251Fm, 252,253No, 254Rf; calculated energies of 2- phonon levels in even-A, and 5/2+ states from 2- phonon levels built on 9/2- ground states in odd-A nuclei, B(E3) using QRPA with Gogny D1M parametrization, configuration amplitudes for odd-A isotopes from QPM with Woods-Saxon potential. Comparison with experimental data.
