Excitation of the Isobaric Analog State of ¹⁶⁵Ho Pion Single-Charge Exchange

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁵Ho(π⁺, π⁰), E=98, 163.2, 228.3 MeV; measured π⁰ yield, θ=4°-6°. ¹²⁰Sn(π⁺, π⁰), E=98-165 MeV; analyzed data; deduced reaction systematics vs mass. ¹⁶⁵Er deduced IAS excitation σ.
