The following note was published in Yad.Fiz. 56, No12 (1993) by the Editorial Board of Yadernaya Fizika in regard to this article: ' Attention Readers: In Vol.56, No.4 of our journal for 1993 there was an article by N.Mansour entitled ' Superdeformed state of the rotating nucleus 151Dy (N = 85) ', a major part of which, without any refrences, contains experimentatal data of G.-E.Rathke et al., given in a paper entitled ' A superdeformed band in 151Dy ', published in 1988 (Phys.Lett.B 209, 177 (1988)). The editorial board offers its apologies to the authors of that paper for the damage it might cause and to the readers who were misled by this publication '. The article by G.-E.Rathke et al., referred to has the keynumber 1988Ra19 in the NSR file.

A translation of the note follows: ' In the journal Ann.Phys.(Leipzig) Vol 46, No 8, P.561-568, 1989, there was an article by N.Mansour, T.Bayomy, Z.Awwad, A.Farhan entitled ' In Beam Gamma-Ray Studies of Band Structures in Ho151 ' which is in large part identical to the work published by J.Gizon, A.Gizon, S.Andre, J.Genevey, J.Jastrzebski, R.Kossakowski, M.Moszynski, Z.Preisbisz entitled ' High Spin Levels in 151Ho ' (Zeitschrift fur Physik 301 (1981) S.67-74). The work of N.Mansour et al cannot therefore be considered as original work any longer '. The article by J.Gizon et al., referred to has the key number 81Gi12 in the NSR file.
