Experimental and theoretical study of the (n, 2n) reaction on 174, 176Hf isotopes

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 174,176Hf(n, 2n)173Hf/175Hf, E=8.8-11.0 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) using activation technique. Comparison with statistical model calculations using EMPIRE-II and TALYS codes, and with and previous experimental studies. Discussed effects of the nuclear input parameters and pre-equilibrium emission.
