Experimental and theoretical study of the (n, 2n) reaction on ^{174, 176}Hf isotopes

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ^174,176Hf(n, 2n)¹⁷³Hf/¹⁷⁵Hf, E=8.8-11.0 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) using activation technique. Comparison with statistical model calculations using EMPIRE-II and TALYS codes, and with and previous experimental studies. Discussed effects of the nuclear input parameters and pre-equilibrium emission.
