Fluorescence Time Delay in Multistep Auger Decay as an Internal Clock

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Si(γ, e-), E=14.2-14.4 keV; analayzed available data on Eβ, Iβ; deduced Auger electron spectra, time delay due to fluorescence, a reduced shift of the Auger peak and tailing toward lower energy. Time-dependent theory for post collision interaction (PCI) effects.
