Rotational bands studies of the 169Er nucleus

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 169Er; calculated low-lying levels, J, π, gs and rotational band using the Quasiparticle-Phonon coupling plus Rotor Model (QPRM); compared with experimental data; deduced agreement between calculations and data, low-excitation deformation bands are attributed to high-j intruder states 1h9/2, 1i13/2 and 3p3/2 in the N=5, 6 shells, orbits ν7/2+[633] and ν1/2+[521] play important role in 169Er deformation; deduced the method used enables prediction of data for levels not yet assigned.
