NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ag, Br(22Ne, X), (24Mg, X)1H, E=3.7 GeV/nucleon; analyzed available data; deduced multiplicity distribution (MD) characteristics of fast and slow target protons. MD of gray and black particles is verified by studying two types of scaling functions, Koba-Nielson-Olsen and Hegyi scalings.
