Comparison with TALYS-1.95 code calculations, and with several previous experimental results as well as evaluated data in TENDL-2019 library. Relevance to choice of nuclear level density (NLD) models.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 209Bi(p, xn)203Po/204Po/205Po/206Po/207Po, 209Bi(p, pxn)202Bi/202Bi/203Bi/204Bi/205Bi/206Bi/207Bi, E=62, 72, 82, 91.8, 100.5 MeV; Pb(p, xn)201Bi/202Bi/203Bi/204Bi/205Bi/206Bi, E=76, 100 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, production σ(E) using gamma activation method at the high-intensity proton linac facility KOMAC-Korea. Comparison with previous experimental results, and with theoretical calculations using TALYS code by considering effects of various combinations of the nuclear input parameters of different level density models, optical model potentials, and γ-ray strength functions.
