Branching ratio of the super-allowed β decay of ¹⁰C

RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁰C (β⁺); measured γ-decay products of β-decay of ¹⁰C using high-resolution separator (HRS) of ISOLDE at CERN with Al catcher foil with USSSD detector; deduced γ-ray energy spectrum (separately 1021l7 keV peak, experiment and background); calculated pile-up 511 keV contribution; simulated energy spectrum, used for peak-area more precise evaluation; deduced super-allowed branching ratio. Future experiment on super-allowed β-decay branching ratio , of ¹⁰C; deduced higher precision to be obtained, expected still better precision and very good precision for T_1/2 and the reaction Q.

RADIOACTIVITY ⁴⁹Cr(β⁺), (EC)[⁴⁹Cr from ZnO3 target bombarded by protons and collected by ISOLDE facility]; measured Eγ, Iγ using coax Ge detector; deduced relative γ-ray branching ratios of ⁴⁹V, ⁴⁹V, ⁴⁹Cr γ-ray transitions, levels, J, π, ⁴⁹V β-decay and EC-decay relative and absolute ones. Compared with published data.
