Measurement of th e ¹²C(¹²C, p)²³Na cross section near the Gamow energy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(¹²C, p), E=2.00-4.00 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, thick-target yields at CIRCE, Vanvitelli accelerator facility; deduced astrophysical S-factor for p₀ and p₁ channels, proton-channel to total S-factor ratio, resonance strength at 2.1 MeV, and constrained potential resonance strength at 1.5 MeV. Comparison with previous experimental, and with potential model calculations.
