New model comparison for semi-inclusive charged-current electron and muon neutrino scattering by 40Ar in the energy range of the MicroBooNE experiment

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40Ar(ν, X), E<1.5 GeV; measured reaction products, En, In; deduced missing energy profile of neutrons, σ(θ). Comparison with the relativistic distorted wave impulse approximation (RDWIA) calculations using ED-RMF and ROP FSI models, and the SuSAν2 model implemented in GENIE.

Semi-inclusive charged-current neutrino-nucleus cross sections in the relativistic plane-wave impulse approximation

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C, 40Ar(ν, ν), (ν-bar, ν-bar), E<6 GeV; calculated momentum distributions, semi-inclusive cross sections, flux-averaged single-differential and double-differential inclusive cross sections for quasielastic neutrino-nucleus scattering and corresponding to experimental data from DUNE for 40Ar and T2K for 12C. Plane-wave impulse approximation using three nuclear models: relativistic Fermi gas (RFG), independent-particle shell model (IPSM), and the natural orbitals (NO) model with Lorentzian dependence of the excitation energy. Discussed off-shell effects.
