RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁵⁶Sm, ¹⁵⁶Eu(β^-) [from ²³⁹Pu(n, F)¹⁵⁶Sm, E thermal]; measured decay products, Eβ, Iβ, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, level energies, J, π, partial decay scheme, γ-γ-angular correlation coefficients, log ft, amplitude of the isobaric admixture. Comparison with Nilsson orbitals calculation. Electron spectroscopy with a six-gap spectrometer.
