Electron capture β decay of 7Be encapsulated in C60: Origin of increased electron density at the 7Be nucleus

RADIOACTIVITY 7Be(EC); calculated energy levels, electron wave functions, and electron densities of 2s and 3s states for isolated Be and Be encapsulated in fullerene C60 complex using Hartree-Fock calculations. Discussed effect on the half-life of 7Be embedded in C60 complex.
