Measurement of the β-asymmetry parameter of 67Cu in search for tensor-type currents in the weak interaction

RADIOACTIVITY 67,68,68mCu(β-)[from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV, followed by fragment separation by RILIS and GPS at CERN-ISOLDE]; measured Eβ, Iβ, β(θ, H, temp) by using nuclear implantation into Cold On-Line Equipment (NICOLE) 3He-4He dilution refrigerator; deduced β-asymmetry parameter for 67Cu decay and constraints on tensor coupling constants, nuclear matrix elements. Technique of LTNO used in combination with GEANT4-based Monte Carlo simulations. Comparisons with previous experimental measurements, and with predictions of standard model.
