Precision measurement of the 210Bi β spectrum

RADIOACTIVITY 210Bi(β-)[from 210Pb β- decay]; measured Eβ, Iβ, x rays, ce using Si(Li) detector; deduced β shape factors for the first forbidden nonunique β transition. Comparison of measured β spectrum with previous experimental results. 207Bi(EC), (β+); measured x rays, ce to determine thickness of the nonsensitive layer on the surface of Si(Li) detector. 210Pb(β-); observed β- spectrum. 210Po(α); observed α spectrum.
