Mass Dependence of Shell Effects at High Rotational Frequencies

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁰Ti, ⁶⁸Zn, ⁸²Se, ¹⁰⁰Mo(⁴⁰Ar, X), E=170-185 MeV; measured continuum γ-spectra; deduced high rotational frequency shell effect role on mass dependence. ⁹⁰Zr, ¹⁰⁸Cd, ¹²²Te, ¹⁴⁰Nd deduced band moment of inertia, new angular momentum source at high rotational frequencies.
