Anomalies in α-Scattering and (³He, α) Reactions on ^40,41Ca and the Effect of Cluster Exchange

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ^40,41Ca(α, α), E=19, 24.1, 26.5 MeV; measured σ(θ). ^40,41Ca(³He, α), E=16-27 MeV in 1 MeV steps; measured σ(Eα, θ). ^39,40Ca levels deduced L, C²S. Radioactive ⁴¹Ca target.
