Semiclassical calculations for the 156Gd (p, d) reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 156Gd(p, d), (p, p), E=25 MeV; calculated real optical potentials (central + spin-orbit) for protons and deuterons, final deflection angles of 276, 983 protons and deuterons with respect to proton impact parameter, imaginary optical potentials protons and deuteron, survival probability as a function of impact parameter for protons and deuterons, angular distributions for deuterons and elastically scattered protons. 156,158Gd(p, d), E=25 MeV; calculated σ(θ) for L=0 transfer for deuterons corresponding to dominant 1/2[400] configuration, and compared with experimental data, and with DWBA calculations. Semiclassical calculations for neutron-pickup and proton elastic scattering, and three-body quantum approach.
