Identical Bands Around the Isobaric Rare-Earth Even–Even Nuclei with the Mass Number of A=164

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 162Yb, 166Hf, 162Er, 166Yb, 162Dy, 166Er, 160Dy, 168Yb, 160Er, 168Hf, 158Er, 170W, 158Dy, 170Hf, 156Dy, 172W; analyzed available data; deduced a theoretical collective rotational formula containing three parameters (CRF3) as an extended version of Bohr–Mottelson model to calculate the ground state positive parity excitation energies. Comparison with the potential energy surfaces (PES's) which describe the nuclear deformation.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 163,165Lu; calculated transition energies minus a rigid rotor reference for the bands, even-odd energy staggering parameters, axial asymmetry deformation parameter, the gamma transition energies, rotational frequencies, kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia in triaxial superdeformed (TSD) odd nuclei using the cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky (CNS) model.
