Hypernuclei production with a modified coalescence model in BUU transport calculations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 197Au(197Au, X)3H/5H/6He, E=150 MeV/nucleon; analyzed available data; deduced hernuclei production yields. The usual momentum- and coordinate-space distance criteria for creating nuclear clusters in transport simulations are readdressed by using a dynamical, covariant description in an off-shell Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck transport approach.
