Breakup threshold anomaly in the elastic scattering of the 9Be + 80Se system

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 80Se(9Be, 9Be), E=17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 30, 32.8 MeV; measured Be ejectiles using array of eight surface-barrier Si detectors; deduced σ(θ); calculated σ(θ) using optical model with Woods-Saxon energy-dependent potentials with variable geometry and using Sao Paulo potential; deduced sensitivity radius of the real and imaginary parts of Woods-Saxon potential, volume integral per nucleon vs E(cm).

Elastic and inelastic scattering for the 10B + 58Ni system at near-barrier energies

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 58Ni(10B, 10B), (10B, 10B'), E=19.0, 21.0, 23.0, 24.0, 25.0, 35.0 MeV; measured particle spectra, σ(θ, E) at the 20 UD tandem accelerator facility of TANDAR laboratory in Buenos Aires; analyzed data by large-scale coupled reaction channel calculation, considering several inelastic transitions of the projectile and the target together with one- and two-step transfer reactions.

Enriched target. Comparison with coupled-channel calculations. Discussed influence of 11B ground-state-spin reorientation and 58Ni first excited 2+ state on the reaction mechanism.

Comparison with shell-model calculations.
