NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁶Mg(¹³²Xe, xn), E=645 MeV; ²⁴Mg(¹³⁶Xe, xn), E=610 MeV; measured γγ-coin, summed spectra, γ(θ), oriented nuclei. ^{153,154,155,156}Dy deduced high-spin collectivities, average g, γ-multiplicity. Fast Dy recoils in ferromagnetic gadolinium.
