Effects of velocity-dependent and spin-orbit terms of the Skyrme interaction on neutron elastic scattering observables

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 16O(n, n), (polarized n, n), E=10.0, 14.0, 17.0 MeV; 40Ca(n, n), (polarized n, n), E=9.91, 13.9, 16.92 MeV; 48Ca(n, n), (polarized n, n), E=7.97, 11.9, 16.9 MeV; 208Pb(n, n), (polarized n, n), E=10.0, 13.9, 17.0 MeV; calculated shapes of diagonal contributions W(R, s=0), differential σ(θ, E), analyzing powers Ay(θ, E). Optical potential model generated from the particle-vibration coupling (PVC) approach, and collective excited states from the random-phase approximation (RPA), with and without spin-orbit terms. Comparison with experimental data.
