Transition strengths and the role of the f7/2 orbital in ⁷¹As

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁴Fe(²³Na, 2pα), E=80 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, DCO ratios, Doppler-shift attenuation (DSA). ⁷¹As; deduced levels, J, π, half-lives, bands, multipolarities, B(E2), B(M1), transition quadrupole moments, moments of inertia plots, configurations, Routhians. Comparison with cranked Woods-Saxon and projected shell-model calculations.
