Differential cross section measurements for hadron therapy: 50 MeV/nucleon 12C reactions on H, C, O, Al, and natTi targets

NUCLEAR REACTIONS H, C, O, Al, Ti(12C, X)1H/2H/3H/3He/4He/6He/6Li/7Li/7Be/9Be/10Be/8B/10B/11B/10C/11C/12C, E=50 MeV/nucleon; measured fragmentation products, energy distributions, differential fragmentation σ(θ) for five different targets of medical interest using five telescopes at GANIL accelerator facility. Relevance to carbon therapy. Comparison with previous experimental data at 62 MeV/nucleon.
