GEANT4 Simulation of the High-Energy Neutron Beam of the TOF Spectrometer GNEIS

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁸Pb(p, n), E=1-1000 MeV[neutrons from the TOF spectrometer GNEIS based on SC-1000 synchrocyclotron at PNPI Gatchina; calculated, simulated neutron source flux characteristics between 1 and 100 MeV of ToF using the QGSP_INCLXX_HP model and the GEANT4 code calculated relative neutron flux intensity using different models, neutron energy spectra σ(En); compared with experimental data; compared with experimental data; deduced the difference between calculations and data being small at energies below 200 MeV.
