Reanalysis of Rosenbluth measurements of the proton form factors

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(e, e'), E=high; analyzed σ data from SLAC experiments E140 and NE11; calculated radiative corrections to electron-proton scattering cross sections; deduced proton electromagnetic form factors for 1<Q2< 8.83 GeV2. Complete set of revised formulas to account for radiative corrections in single-arm measurements of unpolarized elastic electron-proton scattering. Comparison with the original results for the proton form factors and with the data from polarization transfer measurements.
