Going beyond statistical models for fission in the Businaro-Gallone region

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(93Nb, X)102Rh*, E=8.4, 11.4 MeV/nucleon; 27Al(84Kr, X)111In*, E=10.4 MeV/nucleon; 65Cu(45Sc, X)110Sn*, E=4.4 MeV/nucleon; 9Be(139La, X)148Pm*, E=8.3 MeV/nucleon; calculated Z and time distribution of fragments, yields, correlation between fragment Z and angular momentum of compound nucleus, potential energy contours, pre-scission multiplicities in the fission of compound nuclei. Mapping of fission in the Businaro-Gallone region. Dynamical calculations based on four-dimensional stochastic Langevin approach. Comparison with experimental data.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 102Rh, 110Sn, 132Ce, 148Pm, 160Yb, 206Po; calculated fission barrier height as a function of asymmetry coordinate q3 for angular momentum of 0 and 40, stiffness as a function of angular momentum.
