Rotational and vibrational excitations in ⁸⁴Zr studied through in-beam and ⁸⁴Nb β-decay spectroscopy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁹Co(²⁸Si, 2np), E=99 MeV; ⁵⁸Ni(³²S, 2pα), E=135 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, angular distributions. ⁸⁴Zr deduced levels, J, π, rotational and vibrational excitations, deformation. Comparison with level systematics in neighboring nuclides.

RADIOACTIVITY ⁸⁴Nb(EC) [from ⁵⁸Ni(²⁸Si, np)]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, βγ-coin, T_1/2; deduced log ft. ⁸⁴Zr deduced levels, J, π. Mass-separated source.
