Dynamic description of ternary and quaternary splits of heavy nuclear systems in the deep-inelastic regime

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(¹⁹⁷Au, X), E=15 MeV/nucleon; calculated fragment chronology as a function of the impact parameter, probability of split or emission of fragments with A>2 as a function of time, distribution of fragment formation sites, fragment-multiplicity contributions as function of impact parameter, topologies of binary, ternary and quaternary exit channels, velocity and mass distribution of fragments, mean neutron-to-proton ratio of fragments, temperature-versus-density correlation in ternary and quaternary collisions. Boltzmann-Langevin one-body approach for shape fluctuations and exotic fragmentation modes in very heavy nonfusing systems in the deep-inelastic regime.
