Coherent μ-e conversion at next-to-leading order

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁷Al(μ^-, e^-), E not given; analyzed coherent muon to electron conversion versus muon capture at next-to-leading order (NLO); deduced expressions for branching ratio in terms of Wilson coefficients associated with possible physics beyond the standard model, and model-independent parameters for scalar- and vector-mediated muon to electron conversion, and parameters for neutron density distribution. Relevance to SINDRUM II Collaboration experimental results, and next generation experiments, Mu2e and COMET.
