Determination of nuclear radii for unstable states in 12C with diffraction inelastic scattering

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(d, d), (d, d'), E=52, 60.6, 77.3, 90, 200 MeV; 12C(3He, 3He), (3He, 3He'), E=34.7, 50, 60, 72, 82 MeV; 12C(6Li, 6Li), (6Li, 6Li'), E=124, 169 MeV; 12C(α, α), (α, α'), E=60, 104, 110, 139, 166, 172.5, 240 MeV; 12C(12C, 12C), (12C, 12C'), E=120, 139.5, 159 MeV; analyzed elastic and inelastic scattering cross section and σ(θ) data using diffraction model of scattering; deduced nuclear rms radii for excited states in 12C, including that for 0+ Hoyle state.
