Evidence for rigid triaxial deformation at low energy in 76Ge

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 238U(76Ge, 76Ge'), E=530 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using Gammasphere array at ATLAS facility in ANL. 76Ge; deduced high-spin levels, bands, multipolarity, mixing ratios, J, π, B(E2), staggering. Comparison with collective- and shell-model calculations. Evidence of rigid triaxial deformation in the low-lying states of 76Ge. Systematics of staggering parameter for γ bands in 74,76,78Se, 76Ge, 76,78,80Kr nuclei.
