Return of Collective Rotation in 157Er and 158Er at Ultrahigh Spin

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 114Cd(48Ca, 4n), (48Ca, 5n), E=215 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. 157,158Er deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, collective rotation above band-terminating states. Gammasphere array, cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky calculations.
