Return of Collective Rotation in ¹⁵⁷Er and ¹⁵⁸Er at Ultrahigh Spin

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹¹⁴Cd(⁴⁸Ca, 4n), (⁴⁸Ca, 5n), E=215 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ^157,158Er deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, collective rotation above band-terminating states. Gammasphere array, cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky calculations.
