Evidence for chiral symmetry breaking in 140Eu?

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 92Mo(51V, n2p), E=205 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (X-ray)γ-coin. 140Eu deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations, B(M1)/B(E2), possible chiral symmetry breaking. Cranked mean field and total Routhian surface calculations. Rotational band systematics in neighboring nuclides discussed.
