93SR C 1996GR20, 1997Gr09: total absorption |g spectrometer (^TAGS)
93SR2C (NaI(Tl) well detector with Si e-detector in well) operated in singles
93SR3C or in 4|p|g-|b coin mode, summed-EG resolution AP 5%; deduced B-
93SR4C feeding to GS (1996Gr20; SUPERSEDES 1996GRZZ), B- feeding to
93SR5C excited states (1997GR09; SUPERSEDES 1996GrZY).
93SR C 1979Bo26: curved crystal spectrometer; measured EG for two lines.
93SR C 1977Bi01: GELI; measured EG, IG (243 lines), GG coin.
93SR C 1975Br03: GELI; measured EG, IG (69 lines), EB, IB, GG coin, BG coin.
93SR C 1974Ac04: GELI and Si(Li); measured EG, IG (45 lines), GG coin,
93SR2C EKC (relative to 85KR(304G) and 85RB(151G)).
93SR C The adopted decay scheme is essentially that of 1977Bi01. For
93SR2C E(level)<4100, it is supported by GG-coin information. The
93SR3C schemes proposed by 1977Bi01 and 1975Br03 are in excellent agreement;
93SR4C however, of the 19 levels proposed in 1974Ac04, only 7 are common
93SR5C to the scheme of 1977Bi01. Total unplaced IG is AP 0.40% in 1977Bi01.
93SR C For the decay scheme of 1977Bi01, negative B- feeding of 2460, 2774,
93SR2C 2886 levels is implied by IG imbalance. Also, the distribution of
93SR3C B- strength implied by their decay scheme differs from that indicated
93SR4C by the ^TAGS data of 1997Gr09, in that their scheme significantly
93SR5C overestimates B- strength to E(level)=0.2-2.2 MEV, underestimates it
93SR6C to E(level)=2.9-3.6 MEV, 4.1-4.4 MEV and AP 5.2 MEV, and grossly
93SR7C overestimates it to E(level) GE 5.4 MEV.
93SR8C From their total G absorption measurements, 1988Al42 drew conclusions
93SR9C which were qualitatively similar to those of 1997Gr09 concerning the
93SRAC B- strength distribution.
93SR C Consequently, the evaluator has modified the scheme from 1977Bi01, as
93SR2C follows: (i) the placement is indicated as tentative for all gammas
93SR3C (except the 4645G) deexciting levels which have E>5500 (presumably,
93SR4C all of these are misplaced since each individual IG exceeds the total
93SR5C B- branching to the relevant level and no gammas are placed so they
93SR6C feed these levels); (ii) gammas deexciting these levels in
93SR7C 1977Bi01 have been relocated by the evaluator whenever possible (based
93SR8C on EG alone) - this affects 981.1G, 1359.9G, 1533.8G, 1753.6G, 1983.2G,
93SR9C 3585.4G, 4004.5G; (iii) when calculating intensity balance, all IG
93SRAC (except I(4645G)) originating from E(level)>5500 have been ignored
93SRBC (total IG=4.9%); (iv) a new level (or group of levels) has been
93SRCC introduced at AP 4250 KEV and at AP 5200 KEV, although no unique
93SRDC assignment of gammas to the level(s) can be suggested at this time;
93SREC (v) the previously unplaced 405G has been placed from the 3603 level,
93SRFC and the 1992G (from the 5396 level in 1977Bi01) has been relocated
93SRGC deexciting the 4038 level (based on EG and intensity balance at the
93SRHC 5396 level); (vi) placement of the 4271G from the 5414 level is shown
93SRIC as tentative, based on intensity balance at the 5414 level cf. IB from
93SRJC ^TAGS.
93SR C These changes result in a scheme which does not imply negative B-
93SR2C feeding to any level and which marginally improves agreement between
93SR3C B- feeding deduced from intensity balance and from the
93SR4C ^TAGS data of 1997Gr09; however, the major discrepancies in B-
93SR5C strength distribution persist. It appears to be necessary to introduce
93SR6C a number of additional levels between 2900 and 3600 KEV; transitions
93SR7C between these levels and ones below 2200 KEV may conceivably eliminate
93SR8C much of the feeding to E(level)<2200 implied by the present decay
93SR9C scheme. However, the observation of BG coin at the 433, 1143 and
93SRAC 1385 levels (1978St02) appears to establish that significant B- feeding
93SRBC to those levels does indeed occur.

93SR2CB cf. 2229 160 CALCULATED BY THE EVALUATOR FOR THE DECAY SCHEME PRESENTED
93SR3CB HERE USING THE CODE ^RADLST.
93SR CB IB,LOGFT From TI imbalance, except as noted. Independent IB values
93SR2CB (uncertainty unstated) are available, as a function of excitation
93SR3CB energy, from the total absorption GAMMA spectrometry data of 1997Gr09
93SR4CB and, after being scaled to achieve consistency with adopted IB(GS)
93SR5CB (4% reduction required), these are given in comments.
93SR6CB Where the latter values significantly exceed
93SR7CB those based on intensity balance, they possibly indicate the existence
93SR8CB of an additional level (or levels) at comparable energy(ies);
93SR9CB relatively low values may indicate incorrect placement of gammas
93SRACB from the relevant level and/or failure of the level scheme to account
93SRBCB for gammas directly feeding the level (presumably the former for
93SRCCB E(level)>5390, and the latter for low-lying levels).
93SR CB IB(B),LOGFT(B)$Level may also deexcite via n emission, in which case
93SR2CB IB would be higher (by 1.39% 7 at most) and LOGFT correspondingly
93SR3CB lower.
93SR CB E(F) B END-POINT ENERGY; WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF 7450 40 (2001KO07),

93SR5CB (1970MaZC).
93SR CB IB(G) From 4|p|g-|b data, 1996Gr20 obtain 32.6% 24.
93SR2CB 1975Br03 report 42% 4, based on I(432G, 93SR)/I(590G, 93Y) in
93SR3CB source at saturation and %I(590G) (values unstated), without allowance
93SR4CB for %B-N=1.39 7 or for their decay scheme in which IG(432)/(|S TI to
93SR5CB GS) is AP 103% of that in 1977Bi01 (corrected IB(GS)=39% 4). 1974Ac04
93SR6CB report 59% 3, based on saturation values for |S(RI to 93SR GS)/
93SR7CB |S(RI to 93Y GS) and authors' decay schemes, assuming
93SR8CB IB(GS, 93Y)=0 and %B-N(93RB)=1.7. Compared with the adopted decay
93SR9CB schemes, the ratio from 1974Ac04 is a factor of 1.34 low;
93SRACB consequently, |S(IB to excited states of 93SR)=39% 3
93SRBCB implied in 1974Ac04 is an underestimate (probably 52% 4, leading to
93SRCCB IB(GS)=46% 4, consistent with datum from 1975Br03, but not 1996Gr20).
93SRDCB The evaluator adopts the weighted average of data from 1996Gr20 and
93SRECB 1975Br03 (after the revisions above), assuming adopted %B-N=1.39 7.
93SR CB IB(O) From ^TAGS (1997Gr09); may represent feeding to one level
93SR2CB or to several levels of undetermined energy, lying within a
93SR3CB typically AP 100 KEV wide energy bin centered at the level energy
93SR4CB indicated.
93SR CG 1977Bi01 observe more than three times as many G rays as
93SR2CG 1975Br03 or 1974Ac04 and resolve five multiplets reported as single
93SR3CG lines in prior studies. The evaluator, therefore, omits G rays reported
93SR4CG by 1974Ac04 alone (EG=1380.1, 1597.1, 2456.1, 2946.85, 2999.0,
93SR5CG 4879.0, 5135.7, 5269.9).
93SR CG EKC data are from 1974Ac04.

93SR3CG PRESENTED HERE.
93SR CG E,RI From 1977Bi01, except as noted. Data from 1977Bi01 and
93SR2CG 1975Br03 are typically in excellent agreement. However, those from
93SR3CG 1974Ac04 show systematic differences; EG tends to be higher than in
93SR4CG 1977Bi01 and RI is usually low, sometimes by a factor of at least two.
93SR CG M,MR From EKC.
93SR CG E(A),RI(A)$Also observed in studies other than 1977Bi01.
93SR CG M(H) 1986Ka20 report I(XK)/(I(219G)+I(432G))=0.0063 22 in spectrum
93SR2CG gated by 710G (after correction for I(XK) arising from 213 transition).
93SR3CG Based on mult(213G), DPI is the same for the 219 and 432 transitions.
93SR4CG This ratio is consistent with mult=M1 or E2
93SR5CG for both transitions and rules out
93SR6CG mult=E1. However, 1974Ac04 report EKC(219G)<0.010 and EKC(432G)<0.0015,
93SR7CG both of which indicate mult=E1. The evaluator adopts
93SR8CG the conclusions of 1986Ka20.
93SR CG E(I) EG also approximates that required for a 5396 to 4992
93SR2CG transition.
