91TC 91RU EC DECAY 2004DE40,1983KO43 13NDS 201310

91TC C 2004DE40: 91RU SOURCE FROM 58NI(36AR{+10+},2pn), E(36AR)158 MeV beam
91TC2C degraded to 130 MEV mid-target using a set of tantalum degraders of
91TC3C varying thicknesses placed in the beam line (to capitalize on a 28 mb
91TC4C maximum cross-section, as calculated using ^HIVAP code). Nuclei
91TC5C recoiling out of the target were stopped and neutralized by 500 mbar of
91TC6C purified Ar gas inside a cell. Reaction products were ionized
91TC7C selectively, according to Z, using two dye lasers tuned to the resonant
91TC8C atomic transitions of Rh and Ru, thereby enhancing strongly the
91TC9C ionization and, thus, extraction of these nuclei. The
91TCAC laser-ionized nuclei were then guided towards the ^LISOL mass
91TCBC separator by a sextupole ion guide. Measured EG (<4 MEV), IG, GG COIN,
91TCCC IB, BG COIN, isotope ^T{-1/2} with two HPGe detectors arranged in a
91TCDC compact configuration around |b-sensitive plastic DE-E detectors that
91TCEC enclosed the tape station.
91TC C 1983KO43: Source from 54FE(40CA,2PN). GE(LI) detector.
91TC CE TI,LOGFT |b-feeding to ground and excited states in 91TC was
91TC2CE calculated by 2004DE40 based on I(511G) from annihilation.
91TC3CE Since all I(511G) that could not be associated with |g events
91TC4CE visible in the |g-ray spectra was attributed to the GS B branch,
91TC5CE branches to weakly populated states and to states deexcited by
91TC6CE EG>4 MEV transitions may have been overlooked, and the deexcitation
91TC7CE of those levels may perturb the intensity balance at the levels below
91TC8CE them. THUS, LOGFT VALUES SHOWN HERE MAY be UNDERESTIMATED.
91TC9CE TI IMBALANCE AT EXCITED STATES IS GIVEN IN COMMENTS AND IS CONSISTENT
91TCACE WITH (BUT LESS PRECISE) THAN BRANCHING DEDUCED BY 2004DE40.

91RU3CP 2004DE40 using a macrocycle of a beam-on period followed by a beam-off
91RU5CP one, with on/off times tailored to suit the expected half-life of 91RU.
91RU6CP A time-to-digital converter was started at the beginning of each
91RU7CP macrocycle to provide the time of each triggered event
91RU8CP relative to the start.
