244CM c 1984Ah02: {+248}Cf was produced from the {+246}Cm(|a,xn) reaction
244CM2c with E(|a)=40 meV from the Argonne 152 cm cyclotron. The irradiation
244CM3c was followed by chemical separation and thin sources were prepared
244CM4c using the Argonne electromagnetic isotope separator. |a particles
244CM5c were detected with a Au-Si surface barrier detector
244CM c 1973Hu01: Decay of {+248}Cf source was measured for both alpha and
244CM2c spontaneous fission counting using an ionization chamber. Deduced
244CM3c half-life of {+248}Cf. |a decay were measured in coincidence with
244CM4c L X-rays in {+244}Cm. Conversion coefficients were used for the
244CM5c 2+ to 0+ states to determine the L X-ray activities. Deduced |a
244CM6c branching to the first excited state
