234U 3c detector (SDD) and alpha spectroscopy with a passivated ion implanted
234U 4c planar silicon detector (PIPS) were used to measure {+238}Pu source
234U 5c with platinum backing. FWHM=12 keV at 5486 keV for PIPS. FWHM= 141 eV
234U 6c at 5.9 keV at 234K for the {+55}Fe x-rays. Source to detector
234U 7c distance was |?13 mm for PIPS and 5 mm for SDD. Measured: ce spectra,
234U 8c ce subshell ratio, X-ray energies, E|a.
234U c 1984Bo41:{+238}Pu sources were prepared by sublimation in vacuum onto
234U 2c electropolished stainless-steel discs. Measured |a with two Si
234U 3c surface barrier detectors.
