234PA c  1963Bj02: {+234}Th in equilibrium with its daughters, {+234m}Pa and
234PA2c  {+234}Pa were studied with a six-gap |b spectrometer, scintillaton
234PA3c  spectrometers and with |b-|g and e-|g coincidence techniques. |g-rays
234PA4c  were measured with NaI spectrometers. The three nuclides were
234PA5c  chemically separated and the individual |g-spectra and decay rates
234PA6c  were measured. Deduced Branching(IT)  by comparing Ice's, I|g's, and
234PA7c  |b{+-} disintegration rates from 6.70-h {+234}Pa following 1.159-min
234PA8c  {+234}Pa decay with those following a pure 6.70-h {+234}Pa source.
234PA c  2016Ri06 measured and reported the energy difference between the
234PA2c  isomeric state and 73.92 level to be 2.6 keV {I5}. Evaluator
234PA3c  considers it as a tentative energy due to tentative placement of
234PA4c  106-keV |g ray they used for the deduction (see {+234}Th |b{+-} decay
234PA5c  evaluation).
234PA c  %IT=0.16% {I4} has been obtained by the evaluator from the intensity
234PA2c  of 131-keV |g following the 6.70-h {+234}Pa |b{+-} decay (I|g=18.0%
234PA3c  {I18}) and its intensity of 2.86 {I4} {+234}Th decays measured on a
234PA4c  relative scale by 1990Sc09. As %I|g (63.24|g) = 3.72,
234PA5c  %I|g(131|g)=3.72*2.86/360=0.0296%, 0.0296/0.18=0.16%. Its uncertainty
234PA6c  has been increased because of the diversity of values for the
234PA7c  branching obtained by various methods. Alternatively, using the
234PA8c  transition intensity of 73.92|g following {+234}Th decay yields
234PA9c  %IT=0.19 {I5} when the photon intensities of 1978Ch06 are used, and
234PAac  0.13 {I2} while the intensities measured by 1973Go40 are used. Other
234PAbc  deduced branching ratios are: %IT=0.150 {I25} (1938Fe02), 0.12
234PAcc  (1945Br05), 0.63 (1954Zi02), 0.18 {I2} (1960Fo15), 0.13 {I3}
234PAdc  (1963Bj02).
